Itinerary

• Day 1 UK - Lille - Hasselt
  We travel to Lille to see the spectacular Christmas Market, held in the Place Rihour in the town centre. Lille sparkles and glows with joie de vivre and the area is filled with stalls selling arts, crafts, decorations and local specialities. After a couple of hours we continue to Hasselt where we board the mps Amsterdam.
• Day 2 Hasselt - Liege
  We cruise to Liege, arriving in the early afternoon, where you will find over 170 decorated stalls which make up one of Belgium’s biggest Christmas markets. With a wealth of handmade decorations and traditional crafts, the selection of gift ideas is sure to delight.
• Day 3 Liege - Maastricht - Valkenburg (optional)
  Casting off this morning, our next destination is Maastricht. From here our coach takes us to the Aachen Christmas Market where the streets and squares are transformed into a festive paradise of lights, colours, sounds and smells. We return to our ship in Maastricht for lunch. This afternoon you can join our optional excursion to Valkenburg's Christmas Market, held in the illuminated quarry tunnels and caves beneath the town, known as the Fluweelengrot.
• Day 4 Bruges - UK
  Disembarking at Maastricht, we travel to beautiful Bruges for the Christmas Market on the main square. If you have, or know anyone with, a weakness for Belgian chocolates then you’ve come to the right place - the variety is astounding. The cobbled streets and historic buildings make this a beautiful setting for the festive stalls, with the open-air ice rink and horse and carriages adding to the atmosphere. After free time in Bruges we continue the return journey to the UK.
