Exploring Europe’s rivers, APT’s itineraries venture along the Rhine, Main and Danube as well as Portugal’s Duoro and the Rhône and Dordogne in France. Conveying 164 passengers, the top-of-the-range Concerto River vessels represent a revolution in design. AmaReina; AmaVenita and AmaStella, operate APT's exclusive Royal Collection which features included beverages throughout the cruise, exceptional signature experiences and butler service.
The Concerto Class ships have innovative twin balconies - one's a French veranda with floor-to-ceiling windows that open, and the other is a true, step-out balcony with a pair of chairs and a table. On Violin and Cello Decks the Twin Balcony Cabins are 210 or 235 square feet, with the Royal Suite a very generous 300 square feet. The 160 sq ft category D and E Deluxe Staterooms on the lower (Piano Deck) have twin windows. All cabins have a spacious interior; custom-designed ‘DreamBed’; an ‘Infotainment’ system with a personal computer, movies on demand and Wi-Fi; as well as a generous marble bathroom with large shower.
The fleet of Concerto ships bring elegance and the ambiance of a boutique five-star hotel to Europe's waterways. TheObservation Lounge is the social hub of the ship, with bar, plush sofas, and floor to ceiling windows, plus an external teak front deck. The large Sun Deck with comfortable lounge chairs and a spacious Lower Sun Deck offer unimpeded views of the scenery. There is a heated swimming pool on the Sun Deck with swim-up bar.
APT are members of the prestigious Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, so dining is an undisputed highlight. The Verde Restaurant offersfine dining with freshly-prepared gourmet cuisine, while the Bella Cucina Restaurant serves delicious Italian-style fare. Located at the stern of the Concerto ships, the renowned Erlebnis Chef’s Table Restaurant offers a six-course degustation-style meal in intimate surroundings. Casual Dining is offered at the River Bistro or there’s an alfresco lunch option on the Sun Deck.
We like the fact that gratuities and wine with lunch and dinner are included plus we highly rate APT’s Freedom of Choice tours which can include an exclusive opera house performance in Budapest; a private performance by members of Vienna's Mozart Boys Choir at the City Palace; a personally guided tour of the restored Burg Namedy castle; and a trip aboard the Majestic Imperator restored steam train from Linz to Salzburg.
Featured in almost all of our suites, our Panoramic Balcony Suites feature floor-to-ceiling glass doors that slide open. This transforms your indoor seating area into an enclosed balcony, offering fresh air and unimpeded views of Europe’s waterways.
Twin Window Suites are among the largest entry-level suite categories on Europe's rivers. Featuring twin windows, they offer the comfort, size, amenities and sophistication of Panoramic Balcony Suites.
