Azamara 'Explore Further' Campaign

As the boutique and stylish niche cruise line within the mighty Royal Caribbean empire, Azamara Club Cruises offers a wealth of value-added elements that passengers are increasingly appreciating. This company has thought outside the box when it comes to their unique selling point - ‘Destination Immersion’. Now they are taking the concept to a new level. ‘Explore Further’ is the name of a new concept which greatly expands the brand’s commitment to connect people with people; people with cultures; and people with themselves, by enabling them to look at life with a new perspective.

Azamara’s enhanced brand campaign continues to champion the ethos of ‘Destination Immersion’. There will be more than 900 new tours focused on ‘getting under the surface’ experiences craved by curious travellers. With overnight stays and docking at smaller, less-travelled ports, Azamara ensures their guests can step ashore as an insider as well as travelling deeper, beyond the initial layers of a destination. 

Examples of the new, expanded shore programming include ‘Cook with a Parsi Family in their Home in Mumbai’ where as part of ‘Taste Local’, guests can embrace the rich culinary traditions of India’s Parsi community with a special visit to the home of a local family.  The deeply personal experience takes a close look at Parsi culture as guests participate in the preparation of traditional dishes. Another tour is an ‘Evening of Traditional Vietnamese Fashion in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam’ where through ‘Nights Local’ guests take an insightful look at the artistry of Ao Dai, the customary dress of Vietnamese women known for its vibrant pastels and elaborate patterns.  Guests will also explore a gallery at Saigon House, watch a fashion showcase and listen to traditional music.

Featured on every cruise, the ‘Azamazing Evening’ tours are complimentary. Recent highly successful events have included a ‘Journey Back to Roman Times’ concert at the 2nd century AD Odeon Theatre at Ephesus; a night at Teatro La Fenice in Venice listening to the Venetia Antiqua Ensemble; a ‘Three Tenors’ event in Livorno; a concert in St Michael’s Cave in Gibraltar with music from the Royal Gibraltar Regiment Band; and a polo match at the Lion Castle Estate in Barbados.
