Emerald Waterways in Croatia

Emerald Waterways in Croatia

Emerald Waterways has announced that MS Swallow, its exclusively chartered small-ship designed to sail the Dalmatian coast, will start week-long cruises from next April. MS Swallow which launched this year is the first of two new 36-passenger yachts being chartered for 2020 with MS Lastavica to follow. The yachts will sail along the Adriatic coast exploring everything the Dalmatian coast has to offer. Guests will appreciate the comfort and style as they indulge in the yachts’ rooftop Jacuzzi, spacious sun deck, VIP saloon and swim platform for dips into the stunning azure waters.

In addition to the eight-day ‘Islands of Dalmatia’ itinerary, the yachts will be sailing the brand-new eight-day ‘Pearls of North Dalmatia’ route. Passengers enjoy included guided tours, excursions and extra-special EmeraldPLUS experiences to fully be immersed into Croatian treasures. Sailing from Trogir, the sailings offer a different world from the big cities of Croatia. In this small medieval island town guests can explore the marble streets with a knowledgeable local guide.

Guests then sail on to the Roman ruins in Zadar before dropping anchor off Rab, for a visit to the stunning Telašćica Nature Park. Ahead lays a leisurely cruise through the Kornati Islands to see the breathtaking uninhabited islets and reefs. The trip ends in the stunning city of Split.

Capital of the Dalmatia region, Split is a unique city with its heart carved out of the ruins of Emperor Diocletian’s vast palace. Dating back to AD295 this Roman metropolis was used for centuries as a fortress against invading armies, the walls now enclose a warren of houses and shops crammed within colonnades and buttresses. From the lively Piazza del Signori, with its 15th century Town Hall, it’s a short walk to the ancient Temple of Jupiter as well as the Peristyle – the inner court of the ancient Palace and present day Cathedral and Treasury constructed on the remains of Diocletian’s Mausoleum.

Prices include return flights from London or Manchester, seven-nights on board MS Swallow or MS Lastavica, 15 meals and selected drinks on board, shore excursions and experiences, on board events as well as all gratuities and complimentary Wi-Fi whilst on board.
