Marella American Dream

Marella American Dream

Marella Cruises has revealed that it will be sailing from Port Canaveral on Florida’s space coast for the first time in 2021. There will be four brand-new itineraries, one repositioning sailing and 11 inaugural ports of call, including New York. These sailings will offer customers the chance to tick off bucket-list experiences with brand new itineraries as part of its summer 2021 programme - with destinations including Key West. Customers sailing on the ‘American Dream and Big Apple Adventure’ sailings from Port Canaveral will enjoy an overnight in New York, where foodies and those looking to explore after dark can make the most of an evening in the city that never sleeps.

Chris Hackney, Managing Director of Cruise for TUI UK & Ireland said, “We’re really excited to be setting sail from the USA, expanding our programme provides an opportunity for cruisers to sample the American Dream, and we’ve ensured there really is something for everyone. Offering our customers more choice and flexibility is at the heart of what we do, which is why customers will also benefit from regional flights from five UK airports.”

Exclusive to Marella Discovery, the cruise line’s customers will now have the opportunity to sample a variety of destinations state-side. For sun seekers craving white sandy beaches and cocktail bars, there’s picture perfect South Beach in Miami or Grand Turk in the Turks and Caicos Islands with the ‘Sunshine States and Sands’ itinerary.

Cruisers can also enjoy seven or 14-night options with an overnight in Tampa on the ‘Floridian Favourites’ itinerary. In addition, customers choosing one of the four new itineraries have the flexibility to extend their cruise ashore with cruise-and-stay packages available in Orlando – providing the perfect opportunity to experience the magic of Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort.

The new 12-night ‘Sunshine and Jazz’ repositioning sailing heads to the Jazz capital of the world - New Orleans, where the ship will dock for three days, giving cruisers the chance to explore the city and experience some authentic live jazz music.
