New APT spring 2020 sailings

New APT spring 2020 sailings

APT have introduced a new itinerary for next spring which cruises along the charming Dutch and Belgium waterways, with guests even stepping into France for their excursions. This exciting new route puts history and culinary delights side-by-side, from famous cheeses and renowned waffles to poignant battlefields. This captivating sailing also includes two APT Signature Experiences - the first is lunch at the Michelin starred Château Neercanne in Maastricht; the second is a private organ recital at the oldest Protestant church in the Netherlands.

Other highlights are delivered through APT’s Freedom of Choice experiences. In Amsterdam, guests can board a glass-top boat to cruise the maze of World Heritage-listed canals; from Ghent, history buffs can spend a full-day visiting the Fromelles Battlefields, including the Flanders Field Museum and Pheasant Wood Cemetery; while in Nijmegen, art lovers can visit the Kroller-Muller Museum which features masterpieces by Claude Monet and Pablo Picasso.

The APT river ships consist of vessels from the AmaWaterways fleet. Each river cruise ship offers comfortable surroundings with spacious cabins and some of the best cuisine on the waterways of Europe. With more than twenty years experience and an astounding 98% satisfaction rate, family-owned APT has set the benchmark for one of the most popular trends in travel. Onboard each cruise the APT staff ensures that everything runs smoothly while fares include all onboard meals; complimentary drinks; shore excursions; gratuities; flights; and return airport transfers.

APT offers a wide range of on-board accommodation with all suites and staterooms offering the perfect living space from which to explore the rivers of Europe. The line’s luxurious Concerto Class ships boast particularly impressive on-board accommodation with AmaWaterways’ signature twin balcony boasting a large outdoor balcony and a glass conservatory-style area. When it comes to dining, APT provides guests with the finest regional and international cuisine in a host of superb dining venues. The European Aria Class ships offer an especially diverse range of dining experiences, featuring a total of five separate dining venues on-board - such as the Erlebnis Chef’s Table Restaurant.
