P&O Cruises' Food Heroes 2020

P&O Cruises has announced the 2020 travel dates for its Food Heroes experiences. Guests can join Marco Pierre White, master pâtissier Eric Lanlard and award-winning wine expert Olly Smith on selected sailings next year including P&O Cruises’ Iona, which launches in May. Guests can taste Marco’s Gala menus in any of Iona’s four main restaurants, sample Eric’s hand-crafted pastries in Vistas Café Bar, plus take part in Olly’s food and drink experiences including exclusive shore excursions. Also available on Iona is Eric’s hosted Afternoon Tea in The Epicurean, featuring treats such as bee pollen scones and pistachio petit choux.

On Britannia and Azura, Olly will be hosting a one-to-one wine surgery at The Glass House, offering guests the chance to have all their wine questions answered. On Britannia, guests can attend Marco’s hosted masterclasses in the Cookery Club and learn to cook several of his popular dishes, as well as attend hosted dinners.

Marco will be on the following cruises: Iona’s 7-night sailing departing 25 July to Stavanger, Olden, Hellesylt, Geiranger and Bergen; as well as a 7-night cruise departing 1 August to Stavanger, Olden, Hellesylt, Geiranger and Bergen. Marco will also be aboard Britannia for a 14-night cruise departing 4 August to Cádiz, Malaga, Ajaccio, Cannes, Barcelona, Palma and Gibraltar; as well as a 14-night cruise departing 15 August to Cádiz, Malaga, Ajaccio, Cannes, Barcelona, Palma and Gibraltar.

Olly Smith will be on Britannia’s 14-night cruise departing 20 June to Cádiz, Barcelona, Cannes, Livorno, Rome, Cartagena and Gibraltar; Iona’s 7-night cruise departing 5 September bound for Stavanger, Olden, Hellesylt, Geiranger and Bergen. Olly will also be aboard Azura during a 7-night cruise on 4 October to Vigo, Lisbon, Cartagena, Malaga, Gibraltar and Cádiz.

Eric Landlard will be aboard Britannia’s 14-night cruise on 18 July to Cádiz, Malaga, Ajaccio, Cannes, Barcelona, Palma and Gibraltar; Iona’s 7-night cruise on 8 August to Stavanger, Olden, Hellesylt, Geiranger and Bergen; as well as aboard Britannia for a 14-night cruise setting sail on 29 August to Cádiz, Barcelona, Cannes, Livorno, Civitavecchia, Cartagena and Gibraltar.

All sailings are round-trip from Southampton. Itineraries will include interactive cookery shows, chef masterclasses, private hosted dinners and uniquely crafted shore experiences, as well as innovative menus and exclusive food experiences in on-board dining venues.
