What's New at P&O Cruises

What's New at P&O Cruises

P&O Cruises forged the sea routes of Empire in the 19th and 20th centuries, now they are renowned for offering a quintessentially British cruise experience across the globe. The familiar style cannot be overemphasized in the fleet of seven ships which attract a clientele that’s fiercely loyal and who revel in the traditional interpretation of cruising. It’s a given that when their latest programme of cruises goes on sale in September our reservation centre will be working overtime.

P&O Cruises’ family-friendly ships are ideal for junior cruisers who can spend fun-filled days thanks to The Reef - P&O Cruises’ exciting complimentary onboard programme. They can splash around in the family pools; let off steam in the sports arena, tuck into pizza and jelly at the dedicated children’s tea; and join family-friendly shore excursions featuring treasure hunts, water parks, beaches and adventure trips. While the kids are having the time of their lives in The Reef, parents can relax by the pool, enjoy a romantic meal or take in a show.

P&O Cruises have revealed a hassle-free way for passengers in the North West of England to fly direct to their 2019 winter sun cruises in Arabia. Non-stop charter flights from Manchester are perfectly timed for Oceana’s exciting range of Arabian Gulf itineraries. This flight option will undoubtedly enhance passenger’s holiday experience and takes away any nagging doubts about transferring at Heathrow. Travellers from Scotland and the North East of England can also take advantage of this convenient ‘sun jet’.

Following an extensive refurbishment next March, Aurora will become an adult-only ship. This means that Aurora, Arcadia and Oriana will be the company’s trio of ships exclusively for adults, offering a relaxed way of life, stylish surroundings and a variety of bars and lounges for socialising.

Arcadia and Oceana entered 2018 looking better than ever following multi-million pound makeovers. Cabins and suites, bars restaurants have been spruced up to ensure that Arcadia offers the ultimate levels of design, luxury and comfort. On Oceana, suites have new carpets and curtains, bedspreads and headboards while cabins got new carpets, lampshades and stools.

P&O Cruises continue to celebrate the very best of British cuisine. The company’s ‘Food Heroes’ include James Martin; Marco Pierre White, Eric Lanlard as well as wine guru Olly Smith. There are masterclasses, book signings, interviews and exclusive hosted dinners as well as the opportunity to join the chefs on a gastronomic shore excursion.

In January P&O Cruises confirmed an order for second new ship. This new 5,200-passenger vessel will enter service in 2022 and will be almost identical to her forerunner (also powered by LNG) which enters service in 2020.  Two years before the largest cruise ship to be built specifically for the British market takes to the water her name was revealed as Iona. The first season of cruises on this new ship, as well as the rest of the fleet, go on sale in just three months time. Call our cruise specialists for full details on 0800 484 0370.
