If you wish to embrace the everyday rush of Bangkok, head to the markets of Chinatown; the Catuchak weekend market and the street of shops at Flower Market is a must for shopaholics. The floating markets are a must see too; look out for the gondolas filled with fresh produce. You can’t ignore the fabulous smells and tastes of Bangkok either, try the Thai staple of Som Tam, a hot-and-sour green papaya salad.
