Katakolon is a small town in South-western Greece; most visitors arrive here on a cruise ship to visit Ancient Olympia where the Olympic Games started in 776 BC.

The town has a population of 300 citizens with its main street selling souvenirs and the picturesque waterfront street with coffee shops and tavernas most have WiFi.

There is a Pharmacy 100 meters from the Port gate on the right side of the main street, they do speak English and will offer advice.

Not to be missed is the Museum of Ancient Technology at the end of the main street.
