Celebrity Silhouette Upgrade

Celebrity Silhouette Upgrade

The next ship in Celebrity Cruises’ fleet to be luxuriously upgraded, Celebrity Silhouette, will return to Southampton in April 2020 - offering British travellers the first look at the ship’s on-board revolution. On the transformed Celebrity Silhouette, guests can take advantage of refreshed staterooms and suites; an exciting new creation - Craft Social which is a casual spot featuring more than 40 craft beers; a completely reimagined Passport Bar. The ever-popular Qsine will feature Le Petit Chef -  a multimedia dining experience where the eponymous Petit Chef (projected onto your table) builds meals before your eyes.

The fourth of five vessels in Celebrity Cruises’ mini-navy of Solstice Class ships was launched in Hamburg in July 2011. There are some eclectic corners of Celebrity Silhouette which many passengers love. These include: the Hideaway - designed to be like a tree-house for adults and a place to go where you really want to get away from it all; the Porch beside the Lawn Club for sandwiches and snacks with a great view; and the intimate Ensemble Lounge which offers after-dinner jazz.

Unique new treatments and products will be offered at The Spa by Canyon Ranch; while impressive digital enhancements across the ship include the addition of RFID lock technology and pervasive Xcelerate Wi-Fi. Suite guests will have access to a brand new concept - The Retreat including a private sundeck, an exclusive sun-soaked hideaway; and The Retreat Lounge.

Passengers will be able to take in Spain and France during cruises in spring 2020 aboard the revamped Celebrity Silhouette. Itineraries offer the chance to become immersed in Spanish culture in Bilbao where art lovers can visit the Guggenheim and the Bellas Artes museums. Then it is on to Vigo, the picturesque port on Spain’s lush Galician coastline which gives easy access to fascinating medieval towns like Bayona. The allure of the capital of style; Paris is legendary - haute couture combined with haute cuisine. Innumerable museums and just as many famous parks sit alongside architectural icons like the Eiffel Tower.
