Cruise and Maritime Voyages’ January sale

Cruise and Maritime Voyages’ January sale

Cruise and Maritime VoyagesJanuary sale includes over 30 selected summer cruises from London (Tilbury), Portsmouth, Bristol, Cardiff, Harwich, Hull, Liverpool and Dundee. Passengers can receive an extra 10 percent ‘New Year Bonus’ on top of savings of up to 40 percent. For winter 2018/19 cruises, there are 50 percent reductions on offer. The sale ends on 31 January. Among the many outstanding offers is a 15 night sailing aboard Magellan from Tilbury on 16 March to the Canary Islands & Madeira. There are also great value fares aboard Marco Polo’s 7-night ‘Scottish Highlights & Emerald Isle’ cruise which departs Bristol (Avonmouth) on 7 April. CMV also offers solo cruisers the opportunity to sail in 2018 with just a 25 percent supplement.

CMV’s 2018 roster of no fewer than 92 cruises includes new departures from Bristol, Harwich, Poole and Portsmouth. The popular 1,400-passenger Columbus will offer new itineraries including ‘Mediterranean Odyssey’ and ‘Grand Scottish Lochs, Glens, Islands & Ireland’ as well as ‘Canada in the Fall’.

CMV have introduced more multi-generational cruises than ever before with eight cruises in 2018 where younger passengers are welcome on board to holiday with their parents or grandparents. Sailings are available during the Easter holidays, spring half term, the summer holidays and October half term 2018 to a variety of destinations including the Baltic; Norwegian Fjords; Spain; Portugal; Gibraltar; Canary Islands and Madeira. The 13 night ‘Baltic Cities & St Petersburg’ multi-generational cruise on-board Columbus sails from London (Tilbury) on 11 August. With great child fares this cruise has a ‘Legends of Magic’ theme - ideal for Harry Potter fans.

Cruise & Maritime Voyages specialises in adults-only, no-fly cruises for the British market, and is an increasingly attractive option for solo cruisers with 150 single occupancy cabins on-board Columbus and Magellan. The 800-passenger Marco Polo has two categories of solo accommodation. There are two inside singles on Caribic Deck and three on Columbus Deck; there are two ocean view singles on Pacific Deck and eight on Amundsen Deck.

Last year CMV introduced two unique speciality dining experiences - the Grill and Fusion restaurants on board Columbus. Fusion is CMV’s first journey into Indian gastronomy and the Grill offers fine dining and a choice of prime cuts selected by the Well Hung Meat Company. Such has been the success, that a Fusion restaurant has also been added on board Magellan.
