LNG-powered
MSC World Europa is the first LNG-propelled ship in the MSC Cruises fleet and features a new generation wastewater treatment system, as well other cutting-edge environmental technology: another significant step forward in MSC’s commitment to environmental stewardship.
MSC World Europa features breakthrough green technologies and brings MSC’s fleet a lot closer to the ultimate goal of “zero emissions operations”.
The LNG-powered engines ensure:
- 99% reduction of SOx emissions1
- 85% reduction of NOx emissions1
- 25% reduction in greenhouse gasses (GHG)
- Major elimination of particulate matter in exhaust
Ground-breaking design
A striking futuristic silhouette cutting through the water with ease and grace shaped like an arrow with her signature plumb bow and never seen before Y-shaped aft opens onto the impressive 104-metre-long Europa Promenade with breath-taking ocean views. Half open to the sky and half-covered by an imposing LED-sky screen, the screen will feature tailor-made displays throughout the day.
One of the key features of the completely re-imagined ship promenade is The Spiral - a striking architectural centrepiece in the form of a dry slide spanning 11 decks - the longest at sea! This innovative shape of the ship is not only a pleasure to look at but also provides immense functionality benefits to enhance guests’ experience on board.
Next generation cruise experience
All entertainment and dining options at MSC World Europa are taken to the next level featuring a vast choice of new themed locations and activities.
The increased size of the MSC World class ships has enabled the architects to create distinct districts for all ages, each with their own ambience and experiences, from a tranquil zen districts for adults to a lively partially open promenade with entertainment, bars, shops and luxury boutiques, followed by a family districts that houses all the kids’ facilities – literally a world of different experiences.
MSC Aurea Spa
Restore body and soul in the MSC Aurea Spa large 1012 m2, a luxurious Balinese spa on board on MSC World Europa.
Comprising a thermal area, Gym, Beauty salon and Barber shop, it offers a wealth of wellness and beauty treatments to relax, pamper and revitalise you.
MSC Yacht Club

The onboard entertainment offers huge variety and choice for everyone - from the fleet’s largest water park with VR technology water slides, to the Luna Park Studio, a multifunctional venue with 300 seats and built to tailor to any performance or event. And as always, the award-winning MSC family offering features state-of-the-art facilities for kids with a dedicated area of the ship as well as a range of kids’ clubs and tailor-made programmes designed for each age group.

La Brasserie Buffet
The ship will feature 13 dining venues, including an incredible six speciality restaurants such as the classic American-style steakhouse Butcher’s Cut and Asian-inspired Kaito Teppanyaki Grill and Sushi Bar, as well as the newly launched Latin American street food-inspired Hola! Tacos & Cantina.
The new prototype offers an unexpected, interactive experience with two entirely new locations: the trendy Chef’s Garden Kitchen focussing on flavourful microgreens and La Pescaderia, a traditional seafood grill with alfresco seating.
Guests also have the opportunity to discover three ample restaurant-buffets on board, each offering their distinct ambiance, including a brand-new location open 24/7.
BARS & LOUNGES
Zen Pool Bar & Chocolate Shop Jean Philippe Maury
A wide variety of bars and cafes to match any mood. Peruse her decks, step into the fresh juice bar, settle in for a cup of tea or enjoy a cocktail. Bars and lounges will surprise guests with a strong focus on artisan and craft products. such as the Masters of the Sea Pub, which be split across two decks and brew craft beer specially on board for the first time.
