When Silversea Cruises say ‘all-inclusive - always exclusive’, they mean it. Their fleet of seriously classy ships with eye-catching features is soon to be joined by Silver Muse. On board, passengers can indulge in complimentary beverages in each suite and throughout the ship as well as fine wines in all restaurants; gourmet dining in alternative restaurants; transportation between ports and town; and gratuities.
Launching in April 2017, the 596-passenger Silver Muse will have more restaurants than any other ultra-luxury ship. Silversea’s partnership with Relais & Châteaux continues at La Dame where the menu will be enhanced with locally sourced ingredients and carefully paired wines will enrich the dining experience. Kabuki will honour traditional Japanese culture and cuisine; while Indochine will offer exotic spices from India and fragrant aromas of Thailand. Silver Note will pay homage to the iconic jazz clubs of New York while the music will be accompanied by tapas-styled dishes. There’s also Italian-themed Regina Margherita; Atlantide, specialising in fresh seafood and prime beef; as well as the fun Hot Rocks Grill on deck.
The sumptuous range of accommodation choices leads in with the 387 sq ft Classic, Superior and Deluxe Suites. Going up the scale of opulence, there are 786 sq ft Silver Suites; 1,130 sq ft Royal Suites; and 1,475 sq ft Grand Suites as well as Owner’s Suites ranging from 947 to 1,055 sq ft.
Paying tribute to a golden age of glamour, L’Opera is where theatre and music will meet with full-scale productions and cabaret after dinner which can be enjoyed from the belle-époque style seating, with intimate chairs and tiered banquettes. In the Panorama Lounge a pianist will accompany cocktails before dinner, then after dark a disco vibe will be created for party animals. In contrast the Observation Lounge will be a restful haven with fantastic views, while Dolce Vita is the social hub of the ship.
There will be a large pool deck with swimming pool and Jacuzzis as well as incredibly relaxing sun-loungers. The Spa by Silversea will have sweeping sea views from floor-to-ceiling windows, nine treatment rooms, an acupuncture suite, relaxation areas and a dedicated outdoor whirlpool to enhance the aura of well-being.
There’s no doubt Silversea Cruises will ‘up the ante’ with Silver Muse. We feel sure this will be one of the most boast-worthy ships to grace the oceans for many years. This cruise line’s peerless interpretation of life at sea appeals to those who refuse to compromise on style and want to sail aboard a distinguished ship where the experience reflects style and individuality.
