With its harbours, summits and waterfalls it’s no wonder that Flaam receives over 450,000 tourist visitors per year! We have no doubt that you’ll be glad to be one of them. What Flaam lacks in size it more than makes up for in charm and unmistakable beauty; one of the most interesting features of Flaam is its lengths of railway line, including some incredible twists and turns.

Although this side of the country is not the ideal spot for seeing the Northern Lights (funnily, Northern Norway is better!), there are vast numbers of sights to behold. Of course, one of the best ways to take in the waterside scenery is to dive straight into it; as with most of the country’s coastal villages and cities, Flaam boasts a huge variety of water sports, treks, safaris and boat trips.
